You’ve probably heard of dermal fillers. But many of you may also have heard the term liquid facelift and been asking yourself, ‘What exactly is this liquid facelift?’ So, in this article, we thought we’d share some information to help you decide whether this is a good treatment for you.
What is the liquid facelift?
Firstly, the liquid facelift doesn’t involve going under the knife, as a surgical facelift would. That means it also has minimal downtime, a huge advantage over a surgical facelift.
You may also have heard the liquid facelift called the ‘natural lift’ or the ‘8 Point Facelift’. It can dramatically improve the appearance of premature ageing by restoring youthful curves or correcting asymmetries. The procedure is especially effective around the cheek and eye areas, where the skin can droop and look hollow.
We can treat areas of the face that bother you individually. By using dermal fillers around the cheeks, the cheekbone, the jawline, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, we’ll help you achieve a younger, plumper and more defined look.

If you’ve been wondering what is the liquid facelift? There’s a strong possibility you’ve got heaps of other questions too. We will keep things simple here by answering some of those we get asked most frequently at consultations?
What can I expect after the treatment?
There can be some downtime after the liquid facelift. Dermal fillers can cause transient redness, swelling and occasional bruising (this varies from person to person, you may not notice very much at all). Any effects will normally disappear after a day or two for most clients.
How long does the treatment take, and when will I see the results?
The treatment usually takes around 60 minutes, and there is INSTANT gratification; you will see results immediately.
How long will the results last?
This really does depend from person to person, but as a general rule, we say an average of about 6-15 months.
Does the treatment hurt?
We can use a numbing cream and or ice in most areas. So, generally, patients tolerate the treatment well. Some report a tiny pinching sensation with each injection.
How much does it cost?
This really does depend on your goals and the look you want to achieve. It varies from person to person. That said, an initial consultation with our Cosmetic Nurse, Brittany, is complimentary. That’s right, zero, zilch, zip, nada, nothing! Once you’ve had that consultation, Brittany will be able to give you a full outline of the costs for your treatment.
