Here at enhanceskin we offer varicose vein treatment at our Nelson Clinic and at the at Churchill Trust Private Hospital in Blenheim.
But how do you know whether you need to visit us for a free no-obligation Varicose Vein Assessment with Ultrasound Mapping. To help you determine this we’ve devised this very short method of assessment.
Read the following 5 statements:
- Occasionally my legs feel heavy and/or tired.
- My legs hurt or itch, but I’m unsure why.
- My ankles are frequently swollen and blue, and I often feel a burning sensation.
- I occasionally suffer cramps or tingling in my legs.
- Some of the veins in my leg protrude or are swollen.
Did one or more of the five statements apply to you?
If they did then you could be suffering from venous disease. Varicose veins are not always visible. At enhanceskin we treat these painful symptoms with the minimally invasive Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA), the gold standard varicose vein treatment.
EVLA uses targeted laser energy to seal the vein shut. After administration of local anaesthetic, a needle is inserted and a laser fibre is then fed up through the needle into the vein. The fibre with its laser light is slowly withdrawn, shrinking and sealing off the vein. This varicose vein treatment takes approximately an hour and has a 99% success rate (even after 5 years*) with immediate relief of physical symptoms. The benefit of EVLA is that it combines the effectiveness of surgery with the minimally-invasive, outpatient ease of sclerotherapy.
This varicose vein treatment is designed to be fast, fairly pain free and totally effective. There are three simple post-treatment rules to follow; wear compression stockings, walk forty-five minutes a day and avoid immediate international air travel.
Our clients can’t believe the difference EVLA makes, it’s quite literally life changing. So why not change yours too? Call to book your free vein assessment and scan.
