Given the amount of rain we’ve had, it seems odd that we should even be mentioning the word summer in the title of this blog post, but with (hopefully) our peak summer months just around the corner, here at enhanceskin we felt the time was right to remind you of our mantra “Protect, rejuvenate, enhance”.
As you know we advocate that you should be wearing sunscreen all year around, so we shouldn’t even have to remind you about it now, but we will…. Just as an aside if you have been a little naughty and are only just searching for your sunscreen at the back of your bathroom cupboard, check the use-by date, if your sunscreen has been open longer than it should be, it won’t offer the right level of protection, look for a picture of an open pot with a number in it, like 12M.
Remember to use at least SPF 30, and reapply frequently. It’s easy to miss bits, so don’t overlook the back of the neck, cleavage (especially if changing outfits) the tips of the ears, and the end of one’s nose.

Remember sunglasses and a sun hat should form part of your essential summer kit. But don’t use a hat as an alternative to sunscreen, it should be worn as well as! Wraparound shades are a good option as they stop sunlight sneaking in the side, whichever style you choose always ensure that your sunglasses provide 100% UVB protection.
