Profhilo Anti-Ageing Treatment vs Cosmetic Botulinum

Profhilo Anti-Ageing Treatment vs Cosmetic Botulinum

We use both cosmetic botulinum (Botox® ) and Profhilo to treat fine lines and wrinkles that come with age. Profhilo anti-ageing treatment certainly doesn’t replace cosmetic botulinum. And, in fact, like many of the treatments we offer, you might even consider combining the two for the ultimate anti-ageing solution.

Benefits:	Your facial expressions will become softer and fresher, giving a more relaxed appearance. Your wrinkles will become smoother and may even disappear altogether. The result is very natural.	Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water into the deeper layers of the skin to provide hydration and plumpness.
Use for:	Crow’s feet, frown lines and forehead lines.	Fine lines and loose, wrinkled or crepey skin across the face, neck, arms and hands.
Results:	Although you may see results in a few days, it can take up to 2 weeks to take full effect.	Initially, we recommend two treatments (approximately six weeks apart), after which you will start to notice significant results.
Longevity:	Although individuals vary, the effects of your cosmetic botulinum treatment will generally last for around 3-4 months. Research shows that regular use every three months in the first couple of years can yield better results which often last longer.	After your first two treatments, you will start to notice significant results. However, this product has patented slow-release technology. So, we expect it to offer longer-lasting benefits than some other injectables. Follow-up maintenance appointments are recommended at approximately six-monthly intervals.
Pain Level:	Most patients tolerate the treatment very well, only reporting a slight pinching sensation with each injection, similar to waxing or plucking.	Unlike previous skin-boosting treatments, this one doesn’t require a multitude of injections – just five on each side of the face. So, the therapy has clear benefits in terms of comfort.
