Earlier this month enhanceskin acquired a new piece of equipment, The DEESSE LED Mask, I posted a photo of myself wearing it at conference in Sydney on Facebook, that drew a few comments….
We’ll be using the mask in two ways, firstly as post treatment therapy for client’s who may have undergone mildly invasive procedures. Secondly we’ll be utilising the mask as a purely therapeutic procedure – the LED light energises cells to produce collagen, improving elasticity and increasing blood circulation and oxygen flow while releasing toxins, stimulating the anti-aging process, normalising cellular imbalances and improving skin tone and clarity.
LED Light Therapy is effective treatment for:
- Skin rejuvenation, fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage
- Acne and problem skin
- Sensetive and inflammatory conditions such as rosacea, eczema and psoriasis
- Post treatment healing and scars
Yesterday we asked our marketing consultant, Kate, to take it for a test drive, so now I’m going to hand over to her and she can tell you about the experience first hand – David
Initially David explained that whilst this type of treatment has been used before via banks of lights. The DEESSE LED Mask, meant that it was much easier to undergo the therapy, clients don’t need to wear eye protection, and can sit up and read throughout the process should they prefer. I, however, wanted to lie down, (any excuse for a Nana nap, mid afternoon!)
I was a little worried I would feel claustrophobic and panicky, but the mask is not particularly heavy, and quite comfortable to wear, so comfortable in fact that I drifted off. The gentle warmth emitted from the mask, made me feel very relaxed and a bit like I was lying on the beach.
When my twenty five minutes were up, I was a little red in the face and Robyn applied some Aspect Dr Redless Serum. I returned to my normal skin tone pretty quickly. I’d definitely have the treatment again!”
