Cosmetic Treatment Clinic – What makes us different!

As we come to the end of the year, we look back and reflect like you. We are so pleased to welcome newcomers who have found our cosmetic treatment clinic in 2021, and, as ever, we are grateful to our long-standing Nelson and Blenheim clients. We know that you all do such a great job of referring your friends and relatives to us, whether it’s for vein treatment or cosmetic injectables.

We know that there are other providers for cosmetic and vein treatments in the Top of the South. So, in this week’s blog, in case you’ve only just discovered us, we thought we’d recap on what makes us different. Read on for all the details.

Cosmetic Treatment Clinic – What makes us different!

We are a medical clinic:

At enhanceskin, above all, we are a Doctor-led medical clinic and member of NZCSM (NZ Society of Cosmetic Medicine). Our founder, Dr David Orsbourn, has a background in general practice (he spent two decades as a GP), and we are proud to have maintained similar philosophies to family medicine. We believe in building relationships and helping people.

Having a doctor in the house comes with significant benefits for those clients who come to us for cosmetic treatments. We don’t simply administer treatments; we have medical knowledge of the bone structure and how best to counteract the visible signs of ageing for you. We don’t offer a one size fits all solution because put simply, it doesn’t! Dr Orsbourn personally reviews every client treatment plan that is prepared by our Cosmetic Nurse, Brittany Fenwick.

We are local:

We don’t fly in and out of the Top of the South to offer treatments at our cosmetic treatment clinics. It’s where we’ve chosen to live and work. We set up our clinic at Buxton Square Nelson initially before venturing over the hills to Marlborough. In Blenheim, we are based at the Churchill Private Hospital. When you see us at either of these clinics, you can be safe in the knowledge that we’re not on the next plane out; we’re at the end of the phone line and back at our clinic the next working day. So, if you have any concerns, we are always around to help.

We believe you should be you because everybody else is taken!

At enhanceskin, when it comes to cosmetic treatments, we never try to replicate a look from the Real Housewives TV show; you should look like you. We follow the ‘less is best’ concept, staging treatments to ensure you reach your desired result. This longer-term view means you feel more confident and achieve your skin rejuvenation goals while maintaining a natural aesthetic. 

We don’t tie you into treatment plans:

We know that some cosmetic treatment clinics offer plans where you regularly visit for xx ml of filler or cosmetic botulinum. We won’t do that, and there’s a good reason. At enhanceskin, we don’t just tailor your first treatment; we tailor every treatment. We’ll never overtreat you; instead, we want to review your goals at every appointment, and by not locking you into prepaid treatment plans, we can do this.
