David is a specialist Appearance Medicine Practitioner based in Nelson. He comes from a background of 20+ years General Practice in Nelson and is a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, New Zealand College of Appearance Medicine, and the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine. David is also a Member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, so is able to offer Dermoscopic skin checks plus has the surgical skills to deal with any Cancers revealed by this.Appearance medicine is a constantly advancing field and David is able to offer the very latest techniques and procedures, continually taking part in advanced training at workshops and conferences both in New Zealand and internationally (He is particularly skilled in the rejuvenation of the skin and face). His attention to detail, and fusion of creativity and science will ensure you are in very good hands.
In addition, David’s background as a GP means he has a high degree of empathy with his clients which is reflected in his ability to simply listen, then provide very personalised care and attention, working with you to enhance your natural beauty rather than change your appearance, with follow up right here in Nelson or in Blenheim, as he is now running clinics at Churchill Trust Private Hospital. “Churchill Trust are passionate about helping Marlborough people access services locally and it’s great to be able to be part of that.”

After 20 years as a General Practitioner I believe that at Enhanceskin we have maintained similar philosophies to family medicine – building relationships and helping people.
I care passionately about helping my patients feel better about themselves, and in doing so building up their confidence by solving any issues they have regarding their appearance. Issues may range from a mole on their chin to friends telling them they look tired.
The science and application of Appearance Medicine is continually evolving. I am passionate about keeping myself on the cutting edge of this exciting field. It allows me to bring out my artistic streak and matches beautifully with the medical science behind all of our treatments.
It is pure gold to Robyn and I seeing the smiles on the faces of people when they look in the mirror and compare the before with the now! We gain huge satisfaction from seeing people walk out with a new bounce in their step.
This positive feeling drives me to continue to educate myself, expand my skills and continue to strive to achieve results that bring delight to my patients and myself. We specialize in RESULTS driven treatments.
